Celine Luggage Phantom - Emerald - Should you buy?

Hi girls!

So recently I purchased this beeeeeautiful gorgeous bag - the Celine Luggage Phantom in the colour Emerald (darkish green) from David Jones Sydney. I believe the size is medium.

As you can see, this bag can carry a lot! The bag is made out of perfect lambskin, and the feel of this leather is amazing <3. However there's one downside, because of its size, and the quality thick leather, the bag is quite heavy.

This bag is extremely flexible :D

...it goes well with casual outfit...

...as well as dress-up occasions - this is from a wedding...

I'm 1.58cm tall and this bag is quite heavy for me, so think carefully before you buy if you're not into heavy bags :)

So what's the verdict after 1 week of carrying this bag?

- The bag is sooooo HEAVY even when you carry only your wallet, key pouch, some lipsticks and sunnies @@! Bad thing is you can only hook it over your elbow...so it gets very tiring
- Centre of weight is not distributed evenly in the bottom of the bag because of soft leather, so all the stuff falls in the centre and make it look pointy

I'm considering selling the bag now due to these facts even tho the leather is uber fine...I guess if you're tiny like me it's not really the bag for you...

Drop your comments if you have any thoughts on the bag! <3

Michael Kors Mini Selma Satchel & Jet Set Travel Tote

Hi guys!

So recently I've added 2 new members to the Kors collection of mine xD I'm extremely excited since I have all the sizes I want from Michael Kors handbags collection so far!

The 2 new members are: Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Tote in Turquoise and Michael Kors Mini Selma Satchel with studs

The Jet Set tote is a lot bigger than my previous Selma's in medium. If you haven't read my review then it's here

Mini Selma Satchel can fit my wallet, small pouch for keys and lipsticks, and my phone. So that's handy whenever I wanna hang out casually and don't want to carry too much

Here are some photos ;) Hope you find the size & color you like! I love them for the durable saffiano leather, great quality and dye! Not to mention compared to other designer's bags their prices are absolutely fantastic. I got them all from David Jones, RRP are around 3-400.

3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Cobalt in Medium Review - Mix & match ideas

Hi everyone!

So recently I just purchased the Phillip Lim medium Pashli in Cobalt. This post will give you some ideas of how big it is and how to match it with different styles.

You can fit an A4 magazine into this bag easily.

Some more close-up details of the bag ^___^ here. Quite a well-made bag indeed!

It's not too heavy in my opinion (unless you pop your laptop in there!)

One down side of the bag is the hooks for the strap. Since they are both placed at the back, the bag doesn't sit nicely straight when you wear it on your shoulders. Also if you are around my height (160cm) the strap will be a bit long for you (not too bad I would say)

Great point is: you can use this bag for both casual hanging out, work or even parties! ^_____^ And that's why I'm loving it so far! The color is so vibrant <3

The clothes are all from Forever New. Shoes from Salvatore Ferregamo <3

Just in case you're wondering where I got it from, it's from Robby Ingham Australia. There staff was very nice and helpful. We were offered with Moet champaigne and cupcakes the moment I stepped inside the boutique! Sadly I did not win $100 voucher on the day :((

I prefer this bag so much to the small one, simply because it's the perfect size for my stuff, and the strap doesn't look too big compared to the whole bag like the mini :)

Hope you guys find this useful if you're considering getting this bag! Any questions please feel free to ask me! xo

Mix & Match - August - Monochrome

If you're looking for mixing & matching Monochrome clothing this could be a few useful tips for you.

Black, white & red, although simple, if you match them right, you can create the effect of skinner body & longer legs. These are classy colors that will never go out of date.

Check out the following!

I used:

- One black top with white dots (Miki Classic)

- One pair of black shorts with small sophisticated details (a boutique in Oxford)

- One black jacket (simply because it is now cold in Sydney!) - you can actually use any colors but black is the easiest to wear for any occasions. (boutique in Oxford)

- One white top - you can choose lacey to give your outfit some details (plain one from Forever New, lacey one from Valley Girl)

- One red skirt (I forgot from where)

- One pair of white skinny pants - black works just as well! (Yesstyle - some korean brand)

- One white dress

I used my recently obtained white bag (Michael Kors Selma Satchel), and a pair of plain patent leather black heels (Christian Louboutin Simple 85).

Here are some ideas! :)

Knuckle Rings

Hi lovelies!

Recently I've discovered a cute trend of wearing cute little knuckle rings :D at first I was a bit unsure since it feels a bit weird wearing these and makes you feel like your fingers are divided into sections...haha

But in the end I am absolutely loving them! They sure highlight your fingers a great deal xD

I first saw them on Instagram from an online shop..but they were quite pricey. Luckily I found a store in Sydney that sells these at a bit lower price. A week later (after I bought a few of them), I came back and they have none left in stock o.O I guess I was lucky!

Knuckle rings will look best with thin band, simple designs and compliment the normal rings you're wearing :)

Here's the show! let me know if you have any questions! <3<3<3

May's 2nd Fashion Haul: Tony Bianco shoes, Michael Kors Small Selma Top-Zip Satchels (Brown & Black)

Hello my shopaholics <3

Following up on first haul in May, this post is for 2nd fashion haul .... been spending too much!

But since season is changing to winter...and you just feel like you want to update your wardrobe xD (that's a bad excuse but yea, since some stuff are on sales and some you just wait for ages to be able to get it so why not indulge yourself ;))

So first would be reviews on the shoes...

Tony Bianco - Jersey Boots - Color: Mocha Diesel/ Black Wax

Description:

Mocha Diesel/Black Wax leather above ankle boot, with brown elastic side gussets, pull on tab on the back, and two straps which wrap around the front of the foot and cross over under a hidden slot, buckling up on outside of boot with square shaped buckle. Small block heel. Heel height is 5cm.

Diesel is a smooth matte leather.

This pair of boots..I fell in love at first site for the gold buckles, 5cm heels and its color! Was lucky to buy on the only sale date.....so instead of paying $199.95, I only paid $56 for being a member of their VIP Club :) And now the smallest size available is 7.5. So I'm extremely satisfied that I grabbed the 5.5 ones :D

Here are some photos:

For the dosh: This is absolutely a bargain!

Quality:           Very durable and comfy leather, walked all day without any pain. I haven't test it out in the rain so not sure whether it's slippery or not.

Look:              The color goes on well with jeans, tights, socks, or just bare skin. Versatile for all casual looks.

Tony  Bianco - Trist - White Chicago/Black Chicago

This pair is not even available on their website anymore, so YES! I'm happy :))) You can find it on theiconic but they don't have my size there anymore :P

Description:

Black and white suede leather combo high heel, with open waist side, small pocket back around the ankle and pointed front toe with layered detailing across the top. Heel height is 10.5cm. Leather upper and synthetic lining. Due to open waist design, this style fits larger than normal.

Since the heels are high and pointy, it is a bit difficult to walk with, but surprisingly for its height, it wasn't that painful yet still brings the sexy look you want.

Originally this costs $149.95. It's now on sale at $60 and I got it for $42 so totally worth it <3

The design was a bit large so I guess I could go down 0.5 a size. But since I don't use this for walking long distance so it's all good :)

Next part is the handbags....

Michael Kors Small SELMA Top-Zip Satchels

I've been waiting desperately for them to release this model in Australia, and finally it's here! I actually went shopping the first day they arrived in Sydney, so yes, they just put them out on the shelves! The next day I visited, nearly half of them were gone....so thank god!

Since I love LOVE LOVE this so much, I got them in 2 colors....Black and Brown (Tan).

I think the Black one is sold out.

The size is small, and leather type is saffiano..so it won't get deformed easily, which would be perfect for work since I carry a lot to work.

Some photos to model how big it is...

  • I think in the US they're sold for around $330-$340. In Australia the RRP is $399 (as expected! Always got jacked up >")

  • They go well for both casual and formal outfit. And I love how they have the top zips, so your stuff wont be falling out, plus it will be way safer if you hang out at crowded places.

  • The size is good. The bag is light, well-shaped and easy to clean. Shoulder strap is just RIGHT for my height (around the same as the Prada Saffiano's strap) so I'm very happy about that, since most bags have very long straps :(

On me: Jacket and studded stockings are from Forever New. If you're curious here are the stockings I bought...

So that's all for today :) The next blog I guess will be on  winter coats xD

Hope you enjoyed reading, and found something you like <3<3
